Free webinars will help county's clubs
OFFICIAL Suffolk FA partner GiveToLocal is arranging a series of free webinars.
Suffolk FA and GiveToLocal are working together to help clubs across the county develop long-term, sustainable funding.
The new, interactive webinars make it easier than ever for clubs to understand how to generate additional funding at a challenging time.
The webinars will be taking place on the following dates:
- Tuesday, July 7th – 7pm-8pm
- Monday, July 13th – 7pm-8pm
- Wednesday, July 22nd – 7pm-8pm
- Thursday, July 30th – 7pm-8pm
With clubs in the county facing an uncertain future due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Suffolk FA are determined to support players, coaches, parents and volunteers at this difficult time through partnering with GiveToLocal.
Launched in 2019, the grassroots sport service is helping thousands of clubs reach out to people and businesses within their local community.
And those clubs are already benefitting from additional support.
Through GiveToLocal, clubs can access a platform which connects their teams with individuals and businesses.
In turn, those individual donors benefit from special offers.
At the same time, supportive businesses are offered a unique opportunity to broaden their reach where it matters most.
It’s a great model that enables communities to come together.
Everyone can make a contribution and everyone can benefit.
The webinars throughout July, which are completely free for any clubs or individuals involved in grassroots football in the Suffolk FA area, will provide clubs with an introduction to how the organisation’s innovative and free service works.
Suffolk FA Football Development Manager Jodie Allard believes that GiveToLocal has the ability to help grassroots football clubs across the county.
“Grassroots clubs are pivotal organisations within their local communities, often supporting hundreds of local people to be active,” said Jodie.
“Just like grassroots football clubs, GiveToLocal encourages communities to work together to support each other towards a shared cause.
“The reduction in on-field activity does raise the importance of alternative income streams such as fundraising tools like GiveToLocal.
“In terms of safeguarding the future of football clubs, we believe that GiveToLocal can provide valuable support for clubs to achieve this.”
GiveToLocal’s Director of Strategic Partnerships, Colin Stromsoy, is delighted that the Suffolk FA is promoting the organisation’s webinars.
“We're excited to be working in partnership with the Suffolk FA to help clubs across the county secure much needed funds,” said Colin.
“As part of our commitment to the partnership, we are hosting free webinars throughout July.
“With the support of the Suffolk FA we’ll explain how GiveToLocal works and how it can help all clubs and teams develop sustainable, long term funding.”
