Melton handed home tie in Primary Cup
SIX-SHOOTERS Melton United have been handed a home tie in the quarter-finals of this season’s McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup.
Melton, who reached the last eight courtesy of a 6-0 victory over Walton Wanderers, will entertain Kedington, who were 4-2 winners at home to Wortham in the fourth round.
Kesgrave Kestrels, who were 4-1 winners on the road at AFC Oulton, have been rewarded with a home tie. They will face Leiston A, who knocked out Stage FC 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
Ipswich Exiles and Cavendish both took advantage of home ties to progress to the quarter-finals, where they will now meet each other, while Brandon Town Reserves will have to wait to see who they will face.
