WHO will join Woodbridge Town in the last four of this season’s Days Sports Suffolk Senior Reserve Cup?

The Woodpeckers won 4-3 in a penalty shoot-out following a 2-2 draw at Hadleigh United on Tuesday to become the first side to go through to the semi-finals of this season’s competition.

Stowmarket Town, who have reached the final in each of the last three seasons, have a local derby at home to Old Newton United. Stowmarket (old gold & black striped shirts) are pictured in action above against Walsham-le-Willows (maroon shirts) in last season's final at Bury Town FC which Walsham won 3-0.

The other two ties involve long trips for the away teams – Lakenheath will travel from West Suffolk to face Coplestonians, while Whitton United are on the road up the A12 to Beccles Town.

The semi-final draw will take place during the Non-League hour of next week’s Thursday Night Sports Social on BBC Radio Suffolk from 8.30pm.

There’s a busy day of county cup fixtures scheduled for Sunday, weather permitting.

The previously postponed Crown Imperial Boys’ Cup and Plate quarter-final fixtures and the Girls’ Cup quarter-final fixtures are all scheduled for the morning.

Assuming matches beat the weather, the semi-final draws will be announced via the Suffolk FA Twitter feed from 12.30pm on Monday.

Three of the four Suffolk Sunday Trophy last-eight ties are also due to simultaneously go ahead.

Then in the afternoon it is the Suffolk Veterans’ Cup quarter-finals.

The semi-final draws for both competitions will be held during the Non-League hour of next week’s Thursday Night Sports Social on BBC Radio Suffolk from 8.30pm.
