THE clock is ticking on time to celebrate Suffolk’s unsung grassroots heroes.
There is just over two weeks to go to submit entries for The FA and McDonalds Grassroots Football awards.
The awards are for people who make a positive difference by putting their heart and soul into the grassroots game.
This season has been more challenging than ever thanks to the current coronavirus pandemic, so how better to say a huge thank you than by nominating an individual, team, club or league for an award.
There are 11 categories you can nominate across as follows:
- Grassroots Coach of the Year (Adult team)
- Grassroots Coach of the Year (Youth team)
- Grounds Team of the Year
- Grassroots Club of the Year
- Grassroots League of the Year
- Grassroots Volunteer of the Year
- Rising Star of the Year
- We Only do Positive Respect Award
- Grassroots Match Official of the Year
- Grassroots Project of the Year
- The Bobby Moore Award
Nominations close on Monday, May 18th.
