How to nominate for an FA 50-Year award
DO YOU know a volunteer who has dedicated a lifetime to grassroots Suffolk football?
If so, they may be eligible for The FA 50-Year Service award.
The ‘Order of Merit’ recognises the dedication and commitment undertaken by volunteers at grassroots level. Long Melford Secretary Richard Powell (pictured above) received his award in April 2019.
To be eligible for the award, the nominated individual must have completed 50 years’ service to the game, inclusive of playing but excluding any football played at school under the age of 16.
