Repeat of final in Sunday Cup draw

THE draw has been made for the second round of the Suffolk Sunday Cup.

THE second-round draw for this season’s Suffolk Sunday Cup has thrown up a repeat of the 2017-18 final.

Kitchener Taverners defeated Mellis 4-1 in the final at Needham Market FC – and the two teams will now meet again in this season’s competition.

Portman Rovers and Pauls, the only two sides to play in the first round, have been drawn against each other.

Tostock Pirates, last season’s runners-up, will be at home to Wetherden, while holders Gym United have received a walkover against Rushmere Lions.
