Haven Power extend sponsorship of MNF
HAVEN Power are again supporting grassroots football in Suffolk for the sixth consecutive year.
The deal also sees Suffolk FA continue their commitment to get renewable energy from the Ipswich-based electricity provider.
The agreement sees Suffolk FA commit to renewable electricity for a sixth year, enabling them to further reduce their carbon emissions and stay on course to meet sustainability targets.
The partnership also demonstrates Haven Power’s commitment to enabling a zero carbon, lower cost energy future.
Richard Neal, Chief Executive at Suffolk FA, said: “We all have a responsibility to live and operate in a way which reduces our imprint on the world.
“We’re proud our relationship with Haven Power ensures we continue to receive renewable energy from this local provider.”
As part of the new deal, Haven Power will continue its sponsorship of the Monday Night Football (MNF) League in Ipswich organised by Suffolk FA.
Commenting on the league sponsorship, Suffolk FA Senior Football Development Officer Darren Scoulding said: “It’s fantastic to once again get much-needed support from a company like Haven Power.
“The league not only gains the credibility of having the support of one of the area’s most recognised companies, but one of its leading employers too.”
Mark Anderson, Sales Director, Drax Customers, added: “The partnership with Suffolk FA is a win-win for our Haven Power business.
“It firstly demonstrates how we can help any organisation achieve its sustainability goals. What’s more, it also enables us to give something back to our local community, supporting grass roots football in Suffolk.”
