Pauls stand in the path of Kitcheners

THE quarter-final draw has been made for this season’s Suffolk Sunday Cup.

PAULS Athletic stand in the path of Kitchener Taverners reaching the semi-finals of the Suffolk Sunday Cup.

Kitchener Taverners, the 2017-18 winners, went out on penalties to eventual runners-up Tostock Pirates at the quarter-final stage in their defence of the trophy last season.

They now face fellow Ipswich Sunday League Premier Division opposition in the last eight, with the league’s other two representatives avoiding each other in the draw.

Holbrook Swan will be away to Brandon Town Community, and Borussia Martlesham will travel to the winners of the delayed Tostock versus Wetherden tie.

Holders Gym United will entertain fellow Bury & District Sunday League side Moreton Hall Youth 96 in the remaining quarter-final fixture.

The draw was filmed and broadcast live on the Suffolk FA Twitter feed at lunchtime on Wednesday.
