CLUBS across Suffolk can now access a brand-new document produced by The FA, packed with best practice to help ensure you provide the best welcome possible to newcomers.

Entitled ‘Providing A Positive Welcome To Your Club’, the document aims to support clubs to reflect on the information currently made available to parents and carers, with a specific focus on how that is done and elements that could be enhanced.

Within the resource document, clubs can find tips and advice including:

• A club checklist
• Hyperlinks to FA guidance
• User agreements
• Appropriate club official/coach
• Communicating with parents
• Running events

All Club Welfare Officers are encouraged to take this document, attached at the foot of this page, to their committee to gain a buy-in across the club environment.
