WOT’S Up Warriors have won a £100 bonus donation courtesy of Carphone Warehouse in the Suffolk FA and easyfundraising competition.
Clubs registering with easyfundraising, the UK’s leading free cashback funding website, during May were entered into a draw for the chance to win a £100 bonus.
Wot’s Up Warriors were picked out as the winners and Lee Smith from the Ipswich-based disability football club, said: “We are so pleased that we have won the £100 donation.
“We have had a very successful year on the pitch, and this is a great way to end the season and help plan for next.
“We will look at a few options to spend the money on, potentially more equipment or even a team building exercise.
“easyfundraising is an easy and inclusive way for people to donate whilst doing something we enjoy such as online shopping or even those mundane tasks like shopping for car insurance.
“I would happily recommend this scheme to other teams; fundraising is an important part of running a club or team so promoting this easy but effective way is a no brainer.”
