TWO Youth leagues have received their new FA Charter Standard league plaques.

TWO Youth leagues in Suffolk have been presented with their new FA Charter Standard league plaques.

The Suffolk Youth Football League (SYFL) and Ipswich & Suffolk Youth League (ISYFL) both received their plaques from Suffolk FA Mini Soccer & Youth Football Development Officer James Morley.

James said: “I am really pleased to have presented both the Suffolk Youth Football League (SYFL) and Ipswich & Suffolk Youth League (ISYFL) with their brand new League Charter Standard plaques.

“This shows continued hard work to increasing and maintaining standards across their leagues respectively.

“Thank you to both committees for the time put into working with me on creating their development plans which they will be working towards achieving over the next five years.”

By signing up to working towards Charter Standard status, leagues are demonstrating that they are willing to work towards a minimum operating standard.

They are committing to raising standards and addressing poor behaviour within the league and member clubs by encouraging teams to gain Charter Standard Club status.

Leagues are also demonstrating, by reviewing what they do well, what they want to do better and by identifying how they can improve, that they are committed to developing better players and to investing in the workforce.
