Senior Cup new boys to face each other
NEW boys Bildeston Rangers and Ipswich Town Under-18s will face each other in the first round of this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.
Bildeston will be taking part in the competition for the first time after winning promotion from Division One of the SIL at the end of last season and then doing the double by adding the Suffolk Junior Cup. Although Ipswich Town were drawn out first, Bildeston will be the home team as Ipswich have agreed to concede home advantage in their matches in the competition.
Lakenheath will travel to face holders Achilles, who lifted the trophy for the second time in three years when they defeated Cornard United 4-3 at Portman Road last May.
Framlingham Town, who played in last season’s Suffolk Premier Cup, face a trip to Bungay Town.
