Newcomers handed home tie in Shield
NEWCOMERS Horse & Groom will be one of a dozen sides in action in the first round of this season’s Suffolk Sunday Shield.
The Sudbury-based side entertain Belchamp in the first round next month.
The other 26 sides to enter this season’s competition all received a bye to the second round.
Action is pictured above from last season’s final between Fusilier (maroon shirts) and Holbrook Swan (red & black striped shirts) on Super Sunday at Needham Market FC which Fusilier won 5-0.
