Uniting Grassroots Roadshows May 2019

Uniting Grassroots Football visits

SUFFOLK clubs are invited to attend one of the Uniting Grassroots Football Roadshows.

THE FA is proud to be part of grassroots football. The national governing body in England works with County FAs to support clubs to be the best places for people to play and enjoy football.

The FA understands the challenges clubs face. Research says the club landscape in England is changing. The FA is listening to the needs of clubs and working in partnership with County FAs to deliver relevant services to support clubs into the future.

This FA is to visit local communities next month to talk with clubs about the challenges they face and support on offer. The FA are staging eight regional roadshows aimed at clubs and volunteers who make grassroots football happen across the country.

Clubs are invited to attend one of two regional roadshows in the East of England at Cambridgeshire FA on Tuesday, May 14th or Chelmsford on Thursday, May 30th.

These are taking place in the evenings and clubs will be advised of the start time when they book on to attend.

Anyone who takes part in grassroots football is welcome to attend the events to find out how the latest research is shaping the club landscape and have the chance to help us shape football opportunities for the future.

National and local FA staff will be there on the night, providing a great opportunity to ask questions and find how opportunities will benefit your club’s players and volunteers.
