Home advantage for runners-up Mellis

THE second round draw has been made for this season’s Suffolk Sunday Cup.

MELLIS, runners-up for the last two seasons, will have home advantage in the second round of this season’s Suffolk Sunday Cup.

After receiving a bye in the first round, Mellis will entertain Leiston Orient in round two.

Leiston Orient, who won the Suffolk Sunday Shield in 2017, defeated Felixstowe Rangers 4-0 in the first round.

Kitchener Taverners, the holders, will be away to AFC Bergholt, while Tostock Pirates, the 2016 Sunday Cup winners, will host Portman Rovers, who were 4-1 winners at Fat Cat in the first round.

Suffolk Sunday Cup Second-Round Draw: AFC Bergholt v Kitchener Taverners, Bury Bowl v Felixstowe Harpers, Gym United v Boxford Rovers, Horringer Social Club v Brandon Town Community, Howards v Whelnetham, Ipswich Thistle v Borussia Martlesham, Mellis v Leiston Orient, Tostock Pirates v Portman Rovers.

Ties to be played on Sunday, October 14th 2018, kick-offs 10.30am.
