LFLF Week - Day 8
THE #LiveFootballChallenge will bring the curtain down on this year’s Love Football, Live Football Week sponsored by MH Goals Ltd on Day Eight on Saturday.
Suffolk FA Chief Executive Richard Neal will cycle from the county’s offices in Stowmarket to Portman Road to arrive in the FanZone prior to the Sky Bet Championship match against Queens Park Rangers.
The #LiveFootballChallenge started at 2.30pm on Friday with staff and a couple of directors aiming to raise £1,200 for a defibrillator by cycling 312 miles – one for every club in the county – over a 24-hour period.
The defibrillator, which will aid anyone suffering a cardiac arrest, will then be presented to a local club who have donated a minimum of £5 via the Just Giving Page set up. To find out how you can donate click here
Suffolk FA staff will be in the FanZone from 12 noon onwards on Saturday with their Instagram Board and will also be staging a Wildcats Showcase event, involving up to 20 girls aged 5-11-years-old, on the main pitch at Portman Road between 1.45pm and 2pm.
On Saturday morning there is a Girls’ 4v4 Festival involving 29 teams from under-8s to under-11s at Copleston High School in Ipswich between 10am and 12.30pm.
