A WEST Suffolk derby awaits St Edmunds 1965 in the second round of this season’s Suffolk Primary Cup.

St Edmunds 1965 last season reached the semi-finals of the competition, before losing 2-1 to eventual winners Bures United.

They have now been drawn away to fellow St Edmundsbury Football League side Bury Town Rams in the second round. Both sides received a bye in the first round.

AFC Sudbury A, who won 8-1 at Walsham-le-Willows B in Saturday’s first round, will entertain Elmswell in round two.
