Premier Cup draw Nov 2018

Cup holders Leiston to face Lowestoft

THE quarter-final draw has been made for the Suffolk Premier Cup.

HOLDERS Leiston have been drawn at home to Evo-Stik League South Premier Division Central rivals Lowestoft Town in the quarter-finals of this season’s Suffolk Premier Cup.

The draw between the two teams, who have already met in their league cup this season with Lowestoft winning 1-0, is the stand-out tie of the round.

The Thurlow Nunn League are guaranteed at least one representative in the last four, after Stowmarket Town were paired with fellow Premier Division side Brantham Athletic.

The other two Thurlow Nunn League sides have been kept apart; Kirkley & Pakefield will welcome an Ipswich Town XI to Walmer Road, while Hadleigh United will travel to Felixstowe & Walton United.

The draw was broadcast on BBC Radio Suffolk on Friday night before Ipswich Town’s televised match against West Bromwich Albion.
