AFC SUDBURY are aiming for a hat-trick of win in the Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup.

AFC SUDBURY will be bidding to complete a hat-trick of successes in the Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup on Monday.

They face Bury Town in the final at Colchester United’s Weston Homes Community Stadium, kick-off 4pm.

AFC Sudbury have won the competition in each of the last two seasons – defeating Stowmarket Town 4-1 in the 2015-16 season and Walsham-le-Willows 5-2 in last year’s final.

Both teams play in the South Division of the Thurlow Nunn Youth League, with AFC Sudbury retaining the title they won last season and Bury looking likely to finish as runners-up.

It will be Bury Town’s first appearance in the final of the Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup/Sunday Cup, the competition having been split into two at the start of the 2014-15 season.

Woodbridge Town were the inaugural winners of the Suffolk Boys’ Under-18 Midweek Cup, defeating Newmarket Town 4-0 in the final.
