Watch England U21s playing in the region

THE England Under-21 side are playing in the region in September.

AFTER England’s run to the semi-finals of the World Cup, supporters can watch the Under-21 side in action in the region in September.

England will play their key 2019 UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifier against Netherlands at Carrow Road.

Norwich City’s stadium will play host to the tie on Thursday, September 6th, kick-off 7.45pm.

The Young Lions sit top of Group 4, five points ahead of their Dutch visitors with four matches to play.

The teams drew 1-1 in the reverse fixture in Doetinchem in September 2017 with Dominic Calvert-Lewin on the scoresheet for England.

Tickets are on sale now priced £10 for adults and £5 for under-18s and over-65s. A family ticket (two adults and two children) priced £20 is available and group booking and Charter Standard discounts apply.

Tickets can be bought via TheFA.com/Tickets, by calling 01603 721 902 or in person at the Norwich City ticket office.

Head coach Aidy Boothroyd, who spent three years at Norwich City working with youth teams, said: “This match is a really important one in our aim to qualify for next summer’s Euros. Netherlands are a really strong side and it will be a tough and entertaining game.

“We hope the supporters come out in big numbers to get behind the team as we look to get all three points and work our way towards qualification.”

The Young Lions last played at Carrow Road in September 2012 when they beat Serbia 1-0 in the Euro 2013 play-off first leg, thanks to a goal from Craig Dawson.
