New partnership with Ball Launcher

SUFFOLK FA have joined forces with Ball Launcher to strike a new partnership.

SUFFOLK FA have joined forces with Ball Launcher to strike a new partnership encouraging the use of a fantastic training product throughout the county.

The Ball Launcher is a new award-winning and innovative training tool created and made by an East Anglian based company.

It has been designed to support coaches in the development of players of all ages and abilities from grassroots up to professional level by providing a range of different deliveries, thus ending the poor delivery often experienced in training sessions.

Ball Launcher is lightweight and compact and can be easily transported in the boot of a small family car. It can be set up for use at training from the vehicle in less than 60 seconds.

The machine’s power is charged using a removable battery with the charge lasting four hours across and multiple training sessions.

The company has secured CE safety certification and has gone to great lengths to ensure that the very best materials are used in its production.

Suffolk FA are the first County Football Association to recognise and encourage the use of this product and have secured a £150 discount on the RRP price for all Suffolk-based customers.

The Ball Launcher normally retails at £1,800, but through the partnership with the company it can be purchased for £1,650.

Having witnessed the benefits of the product first hand in action, Suffolk FA are keen to promote the Ball Launcher’s use in the county.

Suffolk FA Chief Executive Richard Neal said: “Suffolk FA are passionate about giving coaches and players the best opportunities and tools to develop and improve, and the Ball Launcher certainly provides an excellent solution to everyday training ground scenarios.

“We hope that many adopt this new technology, which is why we have arranged a £150 discount with the company to any customer based in Suffolk.”

Suffolk FA Mini Soccer & Youth Football Development Officer James Morley added: “When we saw it in action we were blown away by the machine’s versatility. It can be used to train both goalkeepers and outfield players in individual or team settings, whilst providing all the different speeds and spins seen at all levels of the game.”

Ball Launcher’s Managing Director Daniel Judge said: “We’ve always believed that no matter your age or ability, from grassroots to professional level, you should have an option to be able to train with the very best of ball delivery, time and time again.

“We wanted to eradicate the downtime associated with poor deliveries often experienced in training and provide players and coaches with a means to achieving over 200 accurate and consistent ball deliveries an hour to work with.

“We’ve worked hard to create a solution that can deliver a range of deliveries such as inswinging and outswinging crosses, dips, chips, shots and short and long-range passes.

“The end result is a product that can encourage player development quicker than possible before. Coupled with guidance of a good coach, the Ball Launcher can help with practice such as crossing, finishing, set pieces, ball control and technique and goalkeeper development.

“We’ve seen the benefits first-hand already in the market through our customers, with players improving rapidly and being able to attribute a match-winning goal, save or ball control to use of the ball launcher machine in training.

“Since coming to market late last year the company has had an impressive start on take up of its product and can count clubs, academies, soccer schools, colleges, universities and parents across the UK and internationally as customers. Furthermore clubs have been pleased with their purchase as it is a tool that can be used by the youngest of players right up to the senior squads.

“That’s the biggest positive feedback we get. You could have a training session with the under-7s working with size 3 balls on close control and technique, then a session next working with adult keepers or players on set pieces using size 5s for example.

“We certainly haven’t cut any corners. We committed to achieving a product that is both quality and affordable and our customer feedback to date gratefully supports that this has been achieved.”
