Third attempt to play Junior Cup tie
AFC Kesgrave and Brandon Town will try for a third time to settle their Suffolk Junior Cup semi-final on Saturday.
The weather has twice forced the tie to be postponed, but should go ahead this weekend.
Cornard United are once again scheduled to host the last-four match, but the 3G pitch at nearby AFC Sudbury is on standby should conditions make the Blackhouse Lane surface unplayable.
Suffolk FA County Cup Competitions Manager Adrian Moye said that if the fixture is switched to AFC Sudbury, it will kick off at 6pm.
He added: “Saturday 10am shall be the latest time that the game can be switched to AFC Sudbury to enable everyone the opportunity to plan their day.”
The winners will face Trimley Red Devils, who defeated holders Bacton United 89 2-0 at Felixstowe & Walton United FC, in the final.
