Current Holders: New competition

The Veterans' Shield, which will be contested by adult over-35 sides playing Sunday league football, is a new competition the 2024-25 season.

It has been introduced because of the depth and breadth and of teams wishing to enter the Veterans' Cup meant there is now enough teams to have two competitions.

A total of  27 teams are taking part in the inaugural competition.
