Manager / Coach required for Martlesham Youth Under-12s (2018-19 season)

The current Martlesham Youth FC Under-11s are looking for an ambitious volunteer with aspirations to become a qualified coach who will take over the coaching of the team next season.

The club are willing to fund the training to become a Level 1 qualified coach and beyond for the right individual.

The team will be playing in one of the lower divisions so the emphasis will be on development, with a real focus on getting them to enjoy playing football.

The club already has a full complement of players ready for next season.

The successful applicant will become part of a well-established club with a great coaching philosophy and will have the support of the club’s committee to assist with their development as they start their journey along their coaching pathway.

Moreton Hall Youth FC require a new coach for the Under-14s, who will be the Under-15s Black Panthers next season.

They play on Sundays and train on a Wednesday in Bury St Edmunds. 

Match location to be confirmed.

Ideally the new coach will have level 1 but preferably level 2 qualification.

Claydon FC Under-11 Dragons are looking for a new manager to take them into 9-a-side next season.

The team play on Saturday mornings in the Suffolk Youth League with home matches played at the Blue Circle ground. Training facilities are under floodlight at the same venue.

Full help will be provided by the club to allow the successful candidate to gain an FA Level 1 qualification and CRC check will be mandatory.




Long Melford FC are now in the process of recruiting an assistant manager/first-team coach to join the management team at Stoneylands.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the first-team manager during match-days
  • Taking warm-ups, preparing players for games and assisting the manager and coaches with match-day duties
  • Planning and delivering training sessions for the first and reserve team squads


  • FA Level Two Coaches Licence holder (minimum)
  • Experience in football management / coaching at an intermediate or senior football club
  • Able to travel independently to midweek training sessions in Sudbury/Long Melford and to matches across East Anglia, when pre-season training begins in late June
  • A Sports Fitness qualification would be an advantage

AFC Hoxne are looking to recruit managers for their first and reserve teams for the forthcoming 2018-19 season.

The teams play in the Touchline SIL Senior and Intermediate A divisions respectively.

Age Group Head Coach  - Bury Town FC Development Squad

The Orange Soccer powered Bury Town FC Development Squad has Age Group Head Coaches vacancies for coaches who are looking to further their careers in an Academy level environment.

Sessions are Monday evenings from 6pm-8pm at Skyliner Sports Centre 3G, IP32 7QB.

Successful applicants will work with two squads in the U8 - U13 age group on a weekly basis and oversee one developmental fixture with those age groups each month as part of our games programme.

Fixtures typically take place on Mondays during regular hours however some additional availability may be required during the week.


Applicants must have the following:


- UEFA B Licence

- Enhanced DBS Clearance

- FA Safeguarding Children Certification

- FA Level 1 Introduction to First Aid in Football




- Previous experience of working in an Academy/Development Squad environment

- FA Level 1 in Talent Identification

- FA Youth Modules/Award


Level 2 coaches working towards their UEFA B License will be considered for the coaching positions available.

Two coaches are needed to help run Walsham-le-Willows’ Girls’ Youth teams.

Training is on Thursday evenings and games are on Sunday mornings.

Previous coaching experience is desirable but not essential.

Ipswich Valley Rangers Under-9s (currently Under-8s) are looking for a coach (must be Level 1 qualified) for the next season (to start from June 18). 

They currently have two teams and require additional coaches to help alongside their current coaches. 

All their players have been playing for at least two years, and they have a mixture of current Year 2s (7 years-old) and Year 3s (8 years-old) and all work very well together. 

They train on a Wednesday evening between 6pm-7pm and matches are on a Saturday morning. 

The club have been running for many years and are well established throughout the year groups. Their home pitch is at Greshams Social Club in Ipswich.

East Bergholt Under-13s require a manager for the 2018-19 season.

The successful applicant would be able to shadow the current manager for the rest of this season. Must be Level 1 qualified.

Sessional/Casual Football Coaches Required – Lowestoft and Forest Heath Area

Catch22 Suffolk Positive Futures are managing a project designed to enrich the lives of young people and help them become successful in other areas of their lives.

You will support the project by assisting towards the delivery of a programme of football based activities to young people identified to take part in the service.

Emphasis will be placed on raising young people's aspirations in relation to their self-esteem, personal development, and healthier lifestyles.

As a Suffolk Positive Futures Football Coach you will:

  • Contribute towards the planning, preparation and delivery of football coaching and/or casual football opportunities to young people attending the Positive Future sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with other Positive Futures Coaches to ensure that the programme reflects the needs of the group attending.

To succeed as a Suffolk Positive Futures Football Coach you will:

  • Have a minimum level 1 certificate in coaching football (FA club coach) or equivalent sports coaching qualification
  • Experience of coaching sport to young people
  • Experience in supervision of groups of children

Felixstowe & Walton United Football Club require a new coach for the boys' Under-11 side for the upcoming 2018-19 season within the Junior section. 

This is a well-established side who will be playing 9-a-side football for the first time. 

Minimum FA Level 1 qualification would be an advantage, but enthusiastic persons are welcomed, with the club giving full assistance in gaining the Level 1 coaching qualification and continued support on all issues.
