Felixstowe & Walton United are looking for an enthusiastic coach to take control of the club’s Under-11s team.

The team is established and is ready for the up-and-coming season where they will be moving to 9v9.

Level 1 preferred but not essential and the club can put the successful applicant through the required online courses.

Haverhill Town Under-16s are seeking an assistant manager.

They will be playing in the U16s Bluebird league this season. A

coach with at least a  level 1 would be ideal but not essential.

Training can be arranged on a evening, or Sunday morning to suit the right person.

Games are on Saturday mornings.

The position would suit an FA Level 1 coach who would like the challenge of running the club’s current side.

Home games and training are held at Chantry Academy Sports Centre in Ipswich.

Great Blakenham FC

Under-10s joint manager The club are looking for a joint manager to support existing manager who will not be able to attend every game next season.

The team play on Saturday mornings in Suffolk Youth Football League.

Home games are at Great Blakenham recreation ground and they train one night in the week on a day and time TBC.

Veterans’ team manager The club are looking for a manager to continue their strong Veterans’ team who play in Division Three of the Norfolk & Suffolk Veterans’ League.

The team play on Sunday afternoons every couple of weeks.

Home games are played at Great Blakenham recreation ground.

Old Newton United FC have a vacancy for a manager to take on the running of their A-team.

Previous experience of coaching, managing or someone who is looking to develop from youth to adult football, with FA level 1 coaching would be advantageous, however this is not essential. Assistance to obtain the level 1 will be given to the right candidate and be paid for by the club.

As a Senior club with fantastic facilities Old Newton Utd FC pride themselves in assisting their management teams by ensuring that all off-field matters are sorted enabling the managers to concentrate on the real job in hand of managing players and match-day matters.

Over the last few seasons, the club have continued to invest significant money on their facilities and club apparel to be the best off-the-pitch as any team competing in the SIL.

The club view this position as a key appointment to develop their up-and-coming youngsters and integrate them into the club structure.

Norwich City FC are looking for casual coaches to join their Regional Development Programme in the Suffolk Area.

They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic coach for their sessions on Monday evenings at AFC Sudbury, working with a range of ages at their new Player Development Centre 5.30pm-7pm.

This is a paid position and full NCFC kit with be provided.

Ideal candidates will have minimum of FA level 2 and experience coaching within a youth development environment.

There are also other positions available across their programme, for any other interested coaches, as they continue to expand in Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

Suffolk Positive Futures are looking for an experienced self-employed sports coach to join their project in both Ipswich & Lowestoft.

The project aims to transform young people’s lives and make a significant impact on reducing crime and youth violence in local communities while promoting positive emotional wellbeing.

As a sports coach, you will support the project by helping to deliver a programme of sports-based activities to young people aged 10-19 during the school holidays in either Ipswich or Lowestoft. Leiston St Margaret’s FC are looking for a new management team to take charge of their first team who currently play in the Senior Division of the Macron SIL.

They would ideally hold their Level 1 but all candidates will be considered.

They would need to take control of the first team on match days and run training, currently held on a Wednesday, for both the first team and Reserves.

The team train on Tuesday evenings in Mildenhall and games are on Thursday nights in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League Cambridge Division.

Great Blakenham FC have the following positions available for the 2021-22 season.

• A manager for their new Saturday Reserve team that will be entering the SIL and playing on Saturday afternoons.

• A new coaching assistant for their Under-8s team. An enthusiastic individual is required to support the existing manager, playing games on a Saturday morning and training one evening day TBC, home games played at Great Blakenham recreation ground

• Three coaches to help develop their Kids’ Club (Under 5s-Under 7s). Coaches needed to help deliver fun and enjoyable football sessions to help children develop the skills and knowledge of the game on Saturday mornings at Great Blakenham recreation ground 10am-11am.




Beccles Town FC have a vacancy for an Under-18 Manager (voluntary).

Based in North Suffolk, Beccles Town are a FA Charter Standard club with very good facilities both at College Meadow and their full-size 3G pitch based over the road at The Nest.

Beccles Town U18s play in the Thurlow Nunn Youth League and play their home games on a Thursday evening and away games are either Wednesdays or Thursdays.

The club have been offering an U18 provision over the for last six seasons; it’s a vital step in the pathway for the club’s young players to come from U16 football and progress into adult football. They have had many players over this time who have gone onto be regular players for all their adult teams

Beccles Town are looking for someone to come into their adult management team (First Team, Reserves, A Team, U18) and support the development, pathway and opportunities for the young players.

They are looking for someone who will maintain honesty and integrity at all times when working with young players at the club. The chosen candidate will also work with the club’s junior section by supporting the U16s to aid the progression of players and make it a smooth transition into U18 football.

The candidate will possess a passion for local football, football coaching and supporting the club in its overall position.

They are looking for someone who is committed and reliable and loves their football.

This is a paid position, and coaches must have a minimum Level 1 in Coaching Goalkeepers award.

Duties will include assistance in training and matches including warm ups, session plans and tactical decisions.

This is an opportunity for an up-and-coming coach to work under a Level 2 coach currently involved with a professional football set up.

This would be ideal for a Level 1 coach looking to make steps towards a second badge.
