Networking event back at Ufford Park

SUFFOLK FA will return to Ufford Park for their 2023-24 season Networking Conference.

SUFFOLK FA will return to Ufford Park for their Networking Conference for the 2023-24 season.

The event will take place at Ufford Park Hotel in Melton near Woodbridge on Thursday, February 15th 2024.

The topic for the conference will be the Volunteer Workforce which will be delivered by Steph Powell, The FA’s National Development Manager for Volunteer and Workforce Delivery.

Steph will lead the workshops across the evening with guests arriving from 6pm for a 6.30pm start.

The evening will aim to build on the success of previous events held at Ufford Park, with events being delivered around topics of Youth to Adult Transition and last season Disability football.

Suffolk FA Football Development Officer James Morley, who is organising the event, said: “The volunteering workforce is an integral part of local football and this evening will provide an opportunity to share good practise and ideas on how to support those volunteers in the game as well trying to attract new people.

“We are really looking forward to welcoming members of the Suffolk football community back to Ufford Park once again and join us in discussing this important part of local football.”

Steph Powell said: “I am really looking forward to coming down to Suffolk to support the County FA’s Networking Event. Volunteers and the Football Workforce play the most important part in making the game happen, so to come and talk about that locally to support that piece of work is really exciting for us.”

The cost to attend the evening is £15 per person which will include a jacket potato with a choice of toppings and dessert.

Numbers will be limited to 60 people. The closing date to sign up will be 9am on January 29th 2024.
