Due to a change in circumstances, AFC Kesgrave are now recruiting for a Reserve Team Manager for their side who play in Division Three of the Suffolk & Ipswich League on a Saturday afternoon.

Working closely with the First Team (Division One) and A Team (Division Five) management teams, the club are looking for someone who can bring energy and enthusiasm to the role along with a focus on developing the younger players.

They train as an adult section on a Wednesday evening on the 3G at Kesgrave High School and play their home games at Ipswich School Sports Centre, Rushmere which is one of the best playing surfaces and facilities in the area.

Following a successful 2022-23, the club will be playing in Division Five of the SIL this season.

Ipswich Athletic FC are looking for a management team for the new 2023-24 season to take on their men's team.

The squad have five games till the end of this current season and the club are hopeful of finding a new management team before this draws to a close to enable them to work alongside the current caretaker in readiness for the new season.

They are looking for the right person who has football in their veins and shares the passion of the players and support staff. You would need to be:

 

> Available for weekly training

> Experienced in coaching men’s football and preparing sessions

> Must be able to travel and have transport for both home and away games

> Have a drive and desire to improve the players and want to climb the table

 

Training:

Training would start pre-season 2023-24 and continue to keep motivated and stay competitive against some challenging opposition.

 

Matches: 

The club are expected to be competing in Division Two of the Suffolk & Ipswich League on Saturday afternoons with around 26 fixtures per season.

This is supported with entry into both league cups and Suffolk FA  county cup. Games are played on Pitch No 2 (Senior SIL standard) King George V Playing Fields, Old Norwich Road.

You will have full control and be responsible for training sessions and Saturday afternoon match-day affairs. General kick off times are 2.30pm, with meet time around 1pm.

Away games are generally in and around Ipswich but can be up to approx. 40-minutes’ drive from central Suffolk.

Administration is handled by the club’s support staff who will also take care of running the club, league interaction and in-house laundry etc.

Football Coach at Hills Road Sixth Form College in Cambridge

Fixed Term, Part-time

6 hours per week

£21.43 per hour (£4,800 p.a.)

Hills Road Sixth Form College are looking for an experienced part-time coach (approximately six hours per week) to coach their college women’s football team.  

This involves working alongside a team of three other coaches, running pre-season trials, team coaching and selecting squads. The team plays in AoC Sport leagues and Cup and the U19 English Schools. 

The team trains on Tuesdays between 11.30am and 1.30pm, and matches take place on Wednesday afternoons. Attendance sheets and records need to be kept. 

The post is a fixed-term contract starting on September 5th and runs until May 31st.  However, if the season extends into the summer term, then payment will be made for these sessions.

The Sport Department at Hills Road Sixth Form College is highly successful.  It works in a supportive environment which values academic as well as sporting excellence. 

There are three members of teaching staff delivering A level, four support staff and a further 12 part time staff that contribute to the delivery of the Enrichment programme/College sport. 

The College has a strong sporting tradition and runs very successful teams in all major games.  Whilst striving for sporting excellence the Department fully supports sport equity and encourages all students, irrespective of gender and ability, to realise their full potential. 

The Department offers a wide variety of sporting activities as part of the Enrichment programme, so that the elite and social player are equally provided for.

Chantry Grasshoppers Football Club are looking for two volunteer coaches to run their Weetabix Wildcats Girls 5-11 year old sessions.

One of the coaches must have an FA Level One coaching qualification and the club can arrange FA DBS checks for both. 

These are to help run their Saturday morning sessions in Ipswich:

Weetabix Wildcats from 9am-10am for 5-11 year olds.

Also a additional new TBC Squad Girls from 10am-11am for 12-14 year olds.

Woodbridge Town Youths Under-15s Whites are looking to add to their coaching team.

Having lost a coach to a team in a higher division they are looking to add to their team.

They will be playing in Division Two of the Suffolk Youth Football League on Saturday mornings in the forthcoming season and will train on Thursday evenings.

First Team Manager Wanted – Hundon FC are searching for an enthusiastic, committed, hard-working manager to come in and help progress the club forward.

The club are finalising Football Foundation funding to progress their own purpose-built changing pavilion and offer the platform for someone to really develop the club for the future.

The person will have an active voice within the club by participating with the committee on all football matters.

The position will be fully supported by the club with further personal development and funding for continued FA recognised coaching badges for the individual/s.

The club are ambition in their growth and planning for the new season is well underway with five pre-season friendlies organised, updating the playing kits, teamwear and equipment ready for the new manager to come in.  

The club have also been successful with grant funding for Grass Pitch Maintenance and hope to move this section of the club further forward in the future as they see that the playing surface is as important for the club and equally the whole village.

Hundon FC first team are currently playing in the Kershaw Senior A league and the club’s ambition is to be playing within the Kershaw Premier Division within the future.

The club development plan is ever growing and with the right person can help facilitate the club to be sustainable for another 100 years plus.

The club is run by very good people within the club’s structure, and all have the same goal which is to get people playing football and enjoying themselves.

The new manager will walk into a well-run football club and believe this would be a very good opportunity for someone to come in and take the reins and have the full support of all within the club.
