Youth Council
Suffolk FA is giving young people a voice in key decisions affecting grassroots football through the formation of a new Youth Council.
As part of the innovative plans, the Chair of the Suffolk FA Youth Council will have full voting rights on the Suffolk FA Council – making Suffolk FA among the first County Football Associations in England to do so.
The Youth Council is for young people aged between 14 and 24 to give them a platform to aid increased participation amongst Youths in grassroots football and to give them a voice in shaping the future of the game.
This is an exciting opportunity to ensure that the skills and experiences of our participants are reflected through the work of Council.
We are excited by the prospect of working with the Youth Council for many years to come for the benefit of the game in the county.
The current chairperson of the Suffolk Youth Council is Isabel Chaplin.
