Away teams win in all four semi-finals
ALL four Suffolk Sunday cup semi-finals at the weekend were won by the away sides.
The Best Badges Suffolk Sunday Cup Final will be a repeat of last season’s final between Moreton Hall Youth Ferals and Kitchener Taverners.
Moreton Hall were 1-0 winners at fellow Premier Logos Bury & District Sunday League Division One outfit Godolphin.
Kitchener Taverners, who won last season’s final by the odd goal in three, returned from BDSL side Bedfield with a 4-1 victory.
The final take place at the Getaway Cars Stadium, home of Bury Town FC, on Sunday, May 18th, kick-off 10.30am.
This season’s Best Badges Suffolk Sunday Trophy Final will be an all-BDSL Division Three affair between Barton Mills and Stradbroke United.
Barton Mills, last season’s runners-up, made it through to the final again courtesy of a 1-0 win at Stanton, who play a division below them.
Stradbroke United, meanwhile, were 3-0 winners away to Ipswich Sunday Football League Division Two side Northam Celtic.
The final will form part of ‘Suffolk Super Sunday’ at the Ecologic Stadium Bloomfields on Sunday, April 27th, and will kick-off 11am on the 3G pitch.
