Oulton aiming for a hat-trick of wins
OULTON United are aiming for a hat-trick of home wins in this season’s McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup.
The Lowestoft & District League Division Two side entertain Kesgrave Kestrels Reserves in Saturday’s third round.
They have already knocked out Pakefield Dynamos 26-0 and East Bergholt United ‘A’ 5-0 to reach the last 16.
Samuels have also been in good goalscoring form, winning 6-4 at Hope Church and then following that up with a 5-2 success at West Row Gunners. Samuels (blue shirts) are pictured above in action versus West Row Gunners (red shirts) in last month’s second-round tie.
They are at home to Kirton Athletic Development, who have recorded two convincing victories at home – 4-1 versus Flying Dutchman and 7-2 v Bungay Town U23s.
Gateway 14 SIL Division Three side Occold, who were 6-0 winners at Achilles in round two, have home advantage versus Southwold Town of L&DL Division Three.
SIL Division Four leaders Ipswich Exiles, who have played nine and won nine in the league so far, make the long trek to Hundon Reserves, whose record is the complete reverse as it reads played eight, lost eight in Division 3A of the Cambridgeshire County League.
Haverhill Town, who also play in 3A, head in the opposite direction to take on mid-table SIL Division Three side AFC Kesgrave Reserves.
The draw for the quarter-finals will be held next week.
