Suffolk FA Youth Council's new look
THE Suffolk FA Youth Council has a new identity.
Suffolk FA relaunched the Youth Council at the start of last season following Covid and over the past year has been working with the Youth Council on creating a solid foundation and putting together plans for the new 2023-24 season.
The Youth Council has worked closely with local designer Daisy Sturgeon, who came up with a new logo and identity to help set them apart from other projects and programmes Suffolk FA organise.
The Youth Council is a team of young people, between the ages of 16 and 25, who are the voice of the Youth for Suffolk.
Suffolk FA Football Development Officer James Morley, who oversees the Youth Council, said: “Suffolk FA involve the Youth Council in a meaningful way, by allowing them to provide equal weight and value to their ideas and suggestions that can dictate the direction of Suffolk FA’s decisions.
“As well as this, we focus on personal development and providing experiences for our members to help support future aspirations regardless as to whether that is in a football or sporting environment or outside of it.
“Suffolk FA recognises that young people aren’t just the leaders of tomorrow. A Youth Leader possesses the energy, skills, and ideas to change football and the wider community.
“The new logo has been designed to represent all young people in Suffolk and had input from all members on how they wanted the logo to look, the meaning behind it and how they wanted it to represent local Suffolk football.”
The Youth Council has worked with two young individuals from Suffolk clubs who have put together videos to help provide some more information on different topics.
The new branding was a topic of conversation for the Youth Council, and you can watch the video filed and produced by Edward Newall below.
