First online AGM to be held on Thursday
SUFFOLK FA will hold their first online Annual General Meeting on Thursday, July 9th.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and to comply with government guidelines, holding a face-to-face AGM isn’t possible this year. The AGM is usually held at the Suffolk FA headquarters (pictured above) in Stowmarket.
Like a number of league AGMs, Microsoft Teams will be used to conduct the business of the meeting, with club and league representatives already in receipt of all joining details and documentation.
Suffolk FA Chief Executive Richard Neal said: “There’s no doubt this will be a different experience to our normal AGM.
“But holding a number of league AGMs using the Microsoft system has shown required business can be conducted very successfully and conducting our AGM in a normal timeframe will mean we’re in the best possible position to begin the 2020-21 season as soon as government measures allow.”
