Albion land a home tie in Sunday Shield

THE second-round draw has taken place for the Suffolk Sunday Shield.

HAVERHILL & Hove Albion, last season’s Suffolk Sunday Trophy runner-up, have been handed a home draw in the second round of this season’s Suffolk Sunday Shield.

Albion, who lost 6-0 to Lavenham in the Sunday Trophy Final, will entertain Barrow in next month’s second round. Action from the final is pictured as Haverhill & Hove Albion (red & white shirts) take on Lavenham (navy blue shirts) in the final on Super Sunday at Needham Market FC.

Rushmere & Diamonds, who defeated Westbourne Warriors 9-1 in last Sunday’s first round, will have home advantage again, this time versus Eastbury Eagles.
