Beccles at home in cup quarter-finals

THE quarter-final draw has been made for the Suffolk Women’s Cup.

THE quarter-final draw has been made for this season’s MH Goals Suffolk Women’s Cup.

Beccles Town will host Needham Market, the highest-ranked side left in the competition following their 5-3 victory over holders AFC Sudbury on Sunday.

Ipswich Vale Exiles, who are playing in the cup for the first time this season, will have home advantage against Bungay Town, who play in Division One of the Norfolk Women’s & Girls’ League.

East Bergholt United, 2-0 winners at home to fellow Eastern Region Women’s Football League opponents Haverhill Rovers, will be away to AFC Kesgrave.

The other tie pits Stowupland at home to Brett Vale, who will be bidding to emulate their feat of reaching the 2018-19 final.
