The other two ties saw AFC Sudbury Reserves beat Bungay Town 4-0 and Haverhill Rovers end 3-0 victors over Brett Vale.

The draw for the semi-finals will be announced on Thursday night at 8.30pm during BBC Radio Suffolk’s Non-League Hour.

Also through to the semi-finals of a county cup are Ipswich Wanderers in the CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.

They overcame lower-league Henley Athletic 2-0 to become the first team to book their place in the final four of this season’s competition.

Meanwhile, Old Newton United won 4-2 against Waveney in their second-round tie which went ahead at the third attempt.

They will now travel to AFC Sudbury Reserves in the quarter-finals this coming Saturday.

In the Best Badges Suffolk Veterans’ Cup Second Round Waveney Athletic won 4-2 on penalties after a 2-2 draw at BOCA Norman Warriors, while Walsham-le-Willows were 3-0 winners away to Cockfield United.
