THE remaining six second-round ties in the Suffolk Primary Cup are scheduled for Saturday.

THE remaining six second-round ties in this season’s McDonald’s Suffolk Primary Cup are scheduled for Saturday.

Ten sides are already through to the third round in February, but who will join them?

The only tie between first teams of clubs sees Lakenheath Casuals AFC, who play in the Cambridgeshire County League, host Occold, currently struggling in Division Three of the Macron SIL.

Occold won 4-0 away to Lowestoft & District League Division Two outfit Normanston Magpies, while Lakenheath Casuals AFC edged a nine-goal thriller at Hadleigh United Brettsiders in round one.

Hawthorn United, who are third in Division Two of the Lowestoft & District League, travel to Framlingham Town ‘A’ of SIL Division Four.

SIL Division Five side Kirton Athletic Reserves welcome Unity, who play a league higher but have yet to taste victory in the SIL this season.

Teams taking part in Saturday's ties are requested to observe a minute's silence before kick-off in memory of Suffolk FA Honorary Life Vice President and former Chair Gordon Rayner, who has passed away, aged 81.

The third-round draw will be announced on Thursday, December 15th following this weekend’s matches.
