HOLDERS Kitchener Taverners have a home draw in the Suffolk Sunday Cup.

After receiving a bye in the first round, Kitchener Taverners will start their defence of the cup at home to Trimley Raiders in round two.

Kitchener Taverners defeated AFC Bergholt 2-0 in last season’s final at AFC Sudbury. AFC Bergholt will face fellow Ipswich Sunday Football League Premier Division side Portman Road.

Bob Tawell, general manager of Rushmere Golf Club, who sponsored the competition in each of the last two seasons, is pictured with the Sunday Cup at last season’s final.

Suffolk Sunday Cup Second-Round Draw: Kitchener Taverners v Trimley Raiders, Mellis v Borussia Martlesham, Barrow v Occold, Portman Rovers v AFC Bergholt, Smiler v Elmsett Utd, Howards v Brandon Town Community, Pauls v Felixstowe Harpers Utd, Moreton Hall Ferals v Holbrook Swan.

Ties to be played on Sunday, October 17th 2021, kick-offs 10.30am.
