Top-ranked teams kept apart in draw

THE draw has taken place for the quarter-finals of the Suffolk Women's Cup.

THE three Eastern Region Women’s Football League sides left in this season’s Suffolk Women’s Cup have avoided each other in the quarter-final draw.

Needham Market, who top Division One North, have been drawn at home to Woodbridge Town of the Suffolk Girls & Women’s Football League Premier Division.

Haverhill Rovers, who also play in Division One North of the ERWFL, will entertain Brett Vale, currently second in SGWFL.

AFC Sudbury, currently third in ERWFL Division One South, will travel to ERWFL Premier Division Brantham Athletic.

The final tie sees AFC Sudbury Reserves, third in the Premier Division of the SGWFL, host Norfolk Women’s & Girls’ Football League Division One side Bungay Town.

Suffolk Women’s Cup Quarter-Final Draw: Haverhill Rovers v Brett Vale, Needham Market v Woodbridge Town, Brantham Athletic v AFC Sudbury, AFC Sudbury Res v Bungay Town.

Ties to be played on Sunday, January 16th, 2022, kick-offs 2pm.
