NANDO’S FC set the pace on the first night of the Suffolk Sixes.

NANDO’S FC set the pace on the first night of the Suffolk Sixes sponsored by Veo.

The six-a-side tournament returned on Wednesday evening after not being able to take place last summer due to the COVID-19.

Seven of the nine teams who have entered this summer’s competition were in action on the first night on the 3G pitch at Ipswich Academy.

Nando’s FC won all four of their matches to top the fledgling table on an opening night blessed by warm weather.

Suffolk FA County Support Officer Ruth Ward said: “It was great to see the Suffolk Sixes return after not being held last summer and the standard of play was really strong from all the teams involved.”
