BRITISH Sugar TOPSOIL have renewed their sponsorship of the Grounds Support Programme.

The Suffolk FA Grounds Support Programme was a new venture last season set up to offer help to Suffolk clubs.

The agreement will see British Sugar TOPSOIL once again offering Suffolk FA clubs a 10% discount on their Sports&Turf topdressing.

The British Sugar factory is a well-known landmark in Suffolk, sitting just beside the A14 in Bury St Edmunds.

Andy Spetch, National TOPSOIL Manager, said: “As a major employer British Sugar is at the heart of the local community and we are delighted to continue to support local grassroots sport in Suffolk.

“Having recently concluded trials with the Sports Turf Research Institute on our topdressing product Sports&Turf, the results of the STRI trials show that as well as repairing the playing surface, the 10% of topsoil in the dressing gave nutritional benefits and root growth, sustaining a healthy turf.”

The club took delivery of 100 tonnes of Sports&Turf topdressing back in May which has helped to get the pitch looking in pristine condition ahead of the new season.

Suffolk clubs wishing to order Sports&Turf topdressing will receive a 10% discount on their order. This is available in both bulk loads and bulk bags.
