THE work of grounds staff and volunteers is to be showcased during #GroundsWeek.

The Grounds Management Association are launching a week-long campaign, starting on Monday, March 1st, to highlight and celebrate the vital role of grounds staff and volunteers who maintain our playing spaces.

As well as highlighting the incredible jobs that the grounds teams do all year round, the GMA will be releasing content to help get more volunteers involved at community levels, as well as recommended grounds maintenance tasks from their specialist Regional Pitch Advisers.

Alongside this content they will also provide a ‘#Groundsweek Toolkit’ which will include graphics you can use, social posts you can share and fun ways you and your organisation can get involved.

During the week the GMA will be hosting a unique webinar – GMA Live - #GroundsWeek Special – with details to be announced soon.
