New Club Futures campaign goes live

AN EXCITING initiative has been launched by Suffolk FA partner GiveToLocal.

AN EXCITING initiative has been launched by Suffolk FA partner GiveToLocal.

The initiative is designed to help clubs develop a sustainable and regular income through a dedicated club campaign using the innovative GiveToLocal funding model.

GiveToLocal have been helping clubs across the UK in 21 sports for over two years but for those of you unfamiliar with them, they provide a funding model designed specifically to help grassroots clubs.

GiveToLocal do not charge clubs for their services and guarantee that clubs will receive 100% of any donations they receive.

If a club is a Charity of Community Amateur Sports Club they can also claim gift aid of 25% on all donations.

The #ClubFutures campaign is their latest initiative to help clubs and enables them to reach out to their communities for support for a specific reason – it could be a clubhouse repair, hardship fund or funds for new kits – it’s whatever your club needs.

Colin Stromsoy, Director of Strategic Partnerships at GiveToLocal, said: “The whole team at GiveToLocal is focused on how we can continually improve our service to clubs and partners and the positive impact we can have.

“The #ClubFutures campaign is a great example of this and is already making a huge difference to so many clubs.

“We work really closely with Suffolk FA and we want to help their clubs utilise the campaign and our other services to exceed at least £10,000 of new funding every year.

“I would encourage any clubs that have not yet registered with GiveToLocal to do so, it’s really simple and can help transform your clubs funding and it doesn’t cost you a penny.”
