THE Suffolk Sixes are returning for 2020.

The six-a-side women’s tournament takes place each summer and is an ideal way for teams to prepare for the forthcoming season or a group of friends to get together and play as a team. Alternatively, individuals may wish to go along and join up with a team.

Suffolk FA Girls’ & Women’s football Development Officer Rebecca Bolton said: “This year the aim is to run three events, with one taking place at the usual home of Whitton Sports Centre in Ipswich.

“It is also planned to run one from a location in Bury St Edmunds and another from the new 3G facility in Beccles. However, these two additional events are to be confirmed and will depend on the number of entries received.”

The Suffolk Sixes will be held on Wednesdays throughout June on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th with fixtures taking place between 7pm and 9pm.

Last year competition was won by Unathletico Madrid (pictured above) with three-times title winners Ipswich Wanderers close behind.
