Suffolk FA Football Development Manager Jodie Allard said: “We hope that a flexible football offer can entice local business and groups to get involved in regular recreational football in a flexible and competitive environment at the top-of-the-range facilities at Skyliner Sports Centre.
“Offering a diverse range of opportunities for players to get back into football is key to ensuring we can support the provision of a thriving local game across the county.
“A big thank you must go to Abbeycroft Leisure for supporting the project, in addition to the Bury & District Sunday League, who are linking in with plans to extend a formalised offer to any teams who are engaged within the programme in future seasons.
“It’s great to see a collaborative approach to engaging with more members of the football community through diverse and flexible offers.”
