MATCH officials appointed to this season’s Suffolk FA County Cup Finals have been recognised at a Celebration Evening.

The officials gathered at Henley Community Centre, home of Henley Athletic FC, on Friday evening to meet and celebrate their appointment with their colleagues for the eleven senior county cup competitions.

In recognition for their appointment, any official who had not previously been involved with a county cup final, was presented with a County FA tie while that they will also receive a commemorative match shirt and lapel badge.

The evening was led by Suffolk FA Senior Referee Development Officer Alan Dale, who said: “The officials who have been appointed to this season’s County Cup Finals should be very proud of their achievement.

“It is recognition for their hard work and levels of performance throughout the season and the Cup Final Celebration Evening is always a real highlight in the calendar. I’d like to congratulate all of those selected and wish them a very enjoyable cup final.”
