Premier Cup tie is brought forward

KIRKLEY & Pakefield’s Suffolk Premier Cup tie versus Ipswich Town has been brought forward.

KIRKLEY & Pakefield’s Suffolk Premier Cup Quarter-Final tie versus Ipswich Town has been brought forward.

The last-eight tie was scheduled to take place on Tuesday, February 12th, but Ipswich Town are now playing away to Watford in the FA Youth Cup Fifth Round that evening.

The Suffolk Premier Cup tie will now take place at Walmer Road a week earlier on Tuesday, February 5th, kick-off 7.45pm.

Suffolk FA County Cup Competitions Manager Adrian Moye said: “Ipswich Town are playing in the FA Youth Cup, which is a National League competition, and that takes precedence over a county cup competition.”

The switch means that just two ties – Felixstowe & Walton United versus Hadleigh United and Stowmarket Town against Brantham Athletic – will be on Tuesday, February 12th.

The fourth match – holders Leiston versus Lowestoft Town – is taking place the following evening, Wednesday, February 13th.

All ties kick-off at 7.45pm.
