FRAMLINGHAM Town and Ipswich Wanderers will stage this season’s Suffolk Sunday Shield semi-finals.

Ipswich Wanderers FC will host Holbrook Swan versus Walton Wanderers at their Humber Doucy Lane ground (pictured above) and Badingham Road, home of Framlingham Town FC, will be the venue for Elmsett United versus Fusilier.

Both ties will take place on Sunday, March 10th, kick-offs 10.30am.

Holbrook Swan won 3-2 at Capel Plough, while Walton Wanderers overcame Amboed 4-0 in the quarter-finals.

Elmsett United emerged victorious 5-4 on penalties following a 3-3 draw at Westbourne Warriors, and Lowestoft side Fusilier were 8-0 winners against Occold in their last-eight ties.

The final will take place at Bloomfields, home of Needham Market FC, on Sunday, April 28th as part of Super Sunday which will feature four county cup finals on one day – the Suffolk Sunday Cup, the Suffolk Sunday Shield, the Suffolk Sunday Trophy and the Suffolk Veterans’ Cup.
