HomeStore extend sponsorship deal

HOMESTORE Self Storage have extended their sponsorship of Suffolk FA to a fourth successive season.

HOMESTORE Self Storage have extended their sponsorship of Suffolk FA to a fourth successive season.

Their support of Suffolk FA started in the 2015-16 season through sponsorship of the women’s game.

HomeStore Self Storage will once again this season be sponsoring the Suffolk Women’s Cup as well as the Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre and the Girls’ Development Centre.

The centres provide talented young female players throughout Suffolk and the surrounding areas with weekly additional training and fixtures, whilst still playing for their clubs.

The Girls’ Advanced Coaching Centre sessions are this season taking place at Needham Market FC and the Girls’ Development Centre is running at Ipswich Academy, both on Monday evenings.

A total of 100 girls are involved across the two centres at under-12, under-14 and under-16 age groups.

Suffolk FA Girls’ & Women’s Football Development Officer Rebecca Bolton said: “I would just like to say a huge thank you to Sarah Bliss and John Taylor of HomeStore Self Storage for coming along to see the girls training at the Girls’ Development Centre.

“Thanks to the sponsorship from HomeStore Self Storage we are able to deliver two fantastic programmes for the elite female footballers in Suffolk.

“This is through the delivery of the Girls’ Development Centre and the Advanced Coaching Centre, where around 100 girls get additional training with County FA coaches.

“We are grateful to HomeStore Self Storage for sponsoring all the female county football we do including the Suffolk Women’s Cup where we are looking forward to an exciting competition this season.”

HomeStore Self Storage Managing Director Martin Tuck said: “The association that our company has with Suffolk FA for their Girls’ and Women’s football development certainly works for us, in particular it raises our company’s profile with so many people within the local community.

“Also, in my role as Chairman of Mildenhall Town FC, I personally have a keen interest in the development of football within Suffolk and it is always great to see young players develop their individual skills and hopefully go on to play for their country one day.”
