Senior Cup draw Oct 2018

Home draw for 2017 winners Achilles

THE draw has been made for the second round of the Suffolk Senior Cup.

ACHILLES, the 2017 winners, will face higher-league opposition in the second round of this season’s CNet Training Suffolk Senior Cup.

The reigning Touchline SIL champions, who saw off fellow Senior Division side Haughley United in last Saturday’s first round, will be at home to Debenham LC, 2-0 winners at Brantham Athletic Reserves the week before.

The reward for 2015 winners Lakenheath’s 2-1 victory at Waveney, who won the competition the following season, is a home tie versus Henley Athletic.

Beccles Town put out Bungay Town, last season’s runners-up, after a penalty shoot-out, and will have home advantage again, this time against Thurlow Nunn League Division One side Cornard United.

Bourne Vale United, formerly Felixstowe Harpers United, will be away to fellow SIL side East Bergholt United.
