SUFFOLK FA are planning to run two Football Futures Coaching Events.

These will be based around the Level 1 Coaching Course, and give a taster for what is involved during a course.

One event will be aimed at Young Leaders aged 14-16 and the other for Young Leaders aged 16-22, with both taking place in the Ipswich area most likely in August.

James Morley, who co-ordinates the Suffolk FA Football Futures programme sponsored by R Bugg Trading Ltd, said: “The 14-16 year old event would be aimed at Young Leaders who are currently too young to do their Level 1 coaching certificate but are interested in coaching and want to learn more.

“You may have never coached before but have always liked the idea and want to learn more; this day will give you information and experience from a Suffolk tutor on what a Level 1 Course is and you will also have fun while doing so.

“The 16-22 year old event is aimed at Young Leaders who might have a little bit more experience in coaching and now that you are old enough, are interested in attending the course.

“If you want to know more about what is involved and how a course is run, this would be great for you. The day will be taken by a Suffolk tutor who regularly runs courses for Suffolk FA and will be able to provide great experience and knowledge.

“At this stage we would like you to register your interest in attending either of the days, and once we have an idea of numbers we will look to confirm all of the final details and let you know when these will be.

“By attending either of these days there will be plenty of benefits that will help you when starting off your coaching journey and we want to get your journey off to a running start.”
