Still on course for Vets' final repeat

A REPEAT of the Veterans’ Cup Final of the last three years is still possible.

BURY Town and Woodbridge Town remain on course to meet in the final of this season’s Vitavia Suffolk Veterans’ Cup for the fourth year in a row.

Woodbridge won last season’s final, with Bury winning in both 2015 and 2016, and the two teams could clash again in this season’s final following the draw for the last four.

Barham Athletic, who won 9-1 at Old Times in last Sunday’s quarter-final tie, will provide Woodbridge Town’s semi-final opposition.

Bury Town will face AFC Hoxne in the other semi-final if they beat Westbourne Warriors in their quarter-final which was postponed last weekend and has been rescheduled for Sunday, March 11th.

Vitavia Suffolk Veterans’ Cup Semi-Final Draw: AFC Hoxne v Westbourne Warriors or Bury Town, Woodbridge Town v Barham Athletic.

Ties to be played at neutral venues on Sunday, March 18th 2018, kick-offs 2.30pm, with no extra time.
